Our works

After the implementation of the following construction works Yerevan Thermal Power Plant will obtain a 220 kW substation, which will lead to reduction of equipment failure frequency, increase trustworthiness and productivity of the substation work, as well as will enable transmission of the electricity to the system produced by steam-driven turbine.

The system encompasses territory of north-eastern part of Ararat lowland including mountains, gorges, hills and slopes. The beginning of the water pipe starts from Geghard reservoir. The main pipeline consists of steel and glass (GRP) pipeline of 500mm diameter, with a total length of 13.3 kilometers. An air cylinder is installed in the water pipe, and air absorbing correspondent armature.

The system encompasses territory of Ararat region, in the surrounding of Vedi, 52-53 kilometers from capital Yerevan. The systems of water haul are situated in Ararat valley, in the mountainous areas, 1190-1150 meters above sea level. The water pipe has its beginning from Vedi and Khosrov rivers.
